Introducing Three Cords Academy: A Different Approach to Education

Three Cords Academy proudly announces its launch as a new microschool in Carrollton, GA, scheduled to open its doors in September 2024. Embracing a biblically led model, Three Cords Academy aims to revolutionize the educational landscape by offering a fresh perspective on learning. “We are different,” state the founders of Three Cords Academy, emphasizing their commitment to action over mere words. “We don’t claim to have all the answers or present an outwardly pretty picture. Instead, we acknowledge that learning is a journey for both students and educators alike.” Trying new things brings success, and it can bring setbacks…that’s ok. We offer one another feedback, encouragement, and forgiveness if necessary.�
At Three Cords Academy, the focus is squarely on the individual development of each student, instead of the all too familiar way of standardized testing and one-size-fits-all approaches. “Our promise to you is authenticity,” affirms the team. “We prioritize what’s best for your child, pouring ourselves into their lives educationally, spiritually, and relationally.”
Unlike traditional educational institutions, Three Cords Academy champions a hands-on approach to learning, tailored to individual students’ needs and preferences. “We celebrate each mile marker with our students and stand by them during challenging times,” says a spokesperson for the school. “Our goal is not just to impart knowledge, but to instill a lifelong love of learning and the ability to apply that knowledge in meaningful ways.”

Our Three Founding Families, Kris and Mandi Donovan, Mike and Connie Frost and Micah and Katie Kilgore are a Framily unlike any other. Yes, you read that right, Framily (Friends who became Family). Through the ups and downs of life and the love of our Heavenly Father, we have created a bond that has been and will again be tested, but never broken. Through a relationship that began in a classroom and that has been strengthened at “the Farm”, we were led by God to begin Three Cords Academy in the Fall of 2023.�
