Questions Kids Ask Us
What are school hours?
We will meet from 9-3 Monday through Thursday in person. Fridays will be used for virtual learning days, field trips, and service projects.
Do we have to write in cursive?
No – not all the time. We will encourage you to either learn cursive handwriting or practice it, but you will also be working on your laptop too.
Will we have Chapel?
We CAN have Chapel – as often as we want! We can form a praise band, invite Mr. Chad to teach instruments, and have Bible lessons and prayer time together.
Do we have to wear uniforms?
Do you guys WANT to wear uniforms? We can decide together! How about a Three Cords Academy t-shirt? (The kids loved that idea.)
How many breaks (recess) in a day?
You will have “brain breaks” every 45 minutes to an hour and a longer recess time too. Plus PE at least 2 times every week!
Do we have assigned seats?
No way! You guys will be able to sit, stand, move around to work – as long as you are not bothering another friend.
Can we study STREAM instead of STEM?
Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Math. Wow! Actually, we have all of these components already “in the works”!

We are working to set our tuition based on minimum needs for the 2026-27 academic year. Our goal is for your family to be financially able to join us based on God’s provisions and a lean budget. Please reach out to us for more information!
