I, the undersigned Legal Guardian(s), hereby make application for Enrollment with Three Cords Academy (TCA) for my child (referenced below) listed within this enrollment packet. In consideration of the enrollment by TCA, the Legal Guardian(s) agrees to pay the full year’s tuition and fees for the stated academic year. A new Enrollment Contract should be signed each subsequent year to continue enrollment for my child and TCA.

To secure this enrollment and reserve the student’s place at TCA, the non-refundable annual deposit in the amount of $1,000 is due within 5 days of receipt of signed contract for new families. Failure to pay the deposit on time, may result in a loss of the student’s reserved spot. The deposit will be applied to the student’s tuition if TCA accepts the enrollment. Failure to pay said deposit by the due date will result in a non-refundable late fee of $250. TCA’s acceptance of the Enrollment Contract is conditional upon full payment of the prior year’s financial obligations to TCA. If the Enrollment Contract is not accepted by TCA, the annual deposit will be returned without interest. The obligation to pay tuition for the full year is unconditional, notwithstanding the subsequent dismissal, expulsion, withdrawal or absence for any reason of the student. All first year students are enrolled on a probationary period for one year. In the event the student conducts himself/herself in a manner not consistent with the mission and vision of TCA, the student may be removed from TCA and the Legal Guardian(s) may be obligated for the payment of the full tuition. It is understood that even though tuition may be paid in ten (10) installments, this does not constitute a divisible contract. This Enrollment Contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.

Payment Plan Options: All payments are scheduled and paid through the financial processing service provider chosen by TCA – currently Zelle, cash, or check is accepted. The offering of a monthly payment plan does not imply a fractional or monthly contract.

Choose your payment plan (per student):

One Payment. Tuition in one payment due on August 1 and late by August 31. A late fee of $150 will be assessed if full payment is not received by September 15.
Two Payments. Tuition in two installments with the first payment due on August 1 and late by August 31 and the second payment due on January 1 and late by January 30. For new family enrollments after August 1, the first payment due date is determined by enrollment date. A late fee of $150 will be assessed if full payment is not received by September 15 and February 15, respectively
Monthly Payments. Tuition in ten monthly automatic installments with the first payment due on August 31 and each payment thereafter due by the last day of each successive month through May. For new family enrollments after August 31, the first payment due date is determined by enrollment date.

For insufficient funds, a $50 per transaction fee will be assessed.

There is no penalty to pay off your tuition deferred credit payment plan early.

In addition to the aforementioned tuition obligation, the Legal Guardian(s) agrees to pay and reimburse TCA for all monthly incidental charges incurred by the student at TCA and all charges imposed by TCA for school programs, events, travel, materials, and supplies, etc. All incidental charges will be due and payable within thirty days.

All past-due accounts shall be subject to an interest charge of 21% per annum, beginning thirty (30) days after the account is due. Any check returned will be subject to a processing fee of $50 per returned check/transaction. In the event of nonpayment on any amount due, TCA may, in its sole discretion, declare any and all sums owing pursuant to this Enrollment Contract immediately due, deny enrollment, class attendance, and participation in other school activities, withhold academic reports and transcripts, revoke this Enrollment Contract, and/or dismiss the student from TCA. In addition to all unpaid amounts and accrued interest charges, the Legal Guardian(s) shall pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees, if amounts due are placed with or collected by or through an attorney at law.

Non–Discrimination Policy: Three Cords Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or made available to students at the school and strives to make its programs and facilities accessible to all without regard to physical or medical condition or disability. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission procedures, scholarship or aid programs, athletic, and other administrative programs.

TCA Framily Guidebook: The Legal Guardian(s) and the student agree to accept the rules and policies adopted by TCA as set forth in the TCA Framily Guidebook (https://threecordsacademy.com/tca-framily-guide-book/), as adopted and interpreted by TCA and understand and agree that any violation or breach thereof by the student or the Legal Guardian(s) may result in disciplinary action, including suspension, dismissal, or expulsion of the student. This Enrollment Contract may be revoked and the student dismissed or expelled for disregard of those rules or policies by student or Legal Guardian(s). These policies, rules and regulations are incorporated into this Enrollment Contract and both the Legal Guardian(s) and the student agree to abide by them. TCA reserves the right to alter any portions of said policies, rules and regulations, including fee structures, as TCA deems appropriate.

Emergency Care Authorization: In the event of sickness, accident or other emergency situation involving the student at a time and/or place that is impractical for TCA to contact the Legal Guardian(s) or for the Legal Guardian(s) to be present, the Legal Guardian(s) authorizes TCA to temporarily act in loco parentis (in place of the parent or legal guardian) to approve and provide whatever immediate care, assistance, management or services the student may require. The Legal Guardian(s) agrees to pay for any and all expenses incurred in providing for such needs of the student. In case of an emergency and in the event the Legal Guardian(s) cannot be contacted, the Legal Guardian(s) hereby grants permission for the student’s records to be released and for necessary medical treatment to be administered.

Waiver of Liability: It is expressly agreed that the participation by the student in any activities of TCA, including, but not limited to, class, recess, physical education, dining, sports, school-sponsored trips away from campus and any other school-related activity or extracurricular activity, and the use of any school facility or property, shall be undertaken at Legal Guardians’ and student’s own risk. TCA, its servants, agents, trustees, insurers, and employees, shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action whatsoever to the Legal Guardian(s) or the student or the Legal Guardians’ property or the student’s property arising out of, or connected with the student being at TCA. The Legal Guardian(s) does hereby expressly forever release and discharge TCA, its agents, employees, trustees, and online financial processing service provider from all such claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action, and from all acts of active or passive negligence on the part of TCA, its agents, employees, board members, or any online financial processing service provider.

Responsible Parties: If additional persons are responsible for a portion of the student’s tuition and other charges, the Legal Guardian(s) must authorize access to this party by communication to TCA. Regardless of the number of responsible parties, any person executing hereunder shall be jointly and/or separately liable for all obligations under this Enrollment Contract. TCA reserves the right to discipline, dismiss, not to continue enrollment or not to re-enroll the student if TCA reasonably concludes that the actions of the student, Legal Guardian(s), family member or Surrogate seriously interfere with TCA’s accomplishment of its educational purpose. If TCA chooses to exercise its rights as described above, the Legal Guardian(s) and student will still be responsible for the full financial obligation of this Enrollment Contract for the current academic year. The decision of TCA and the School’s Advisory Council shall be final in these regards.

As used in this Enrollment Contract, the words undersigned, I, we and our refer jointly and severally to the person or persons who sign below as Legal Guardian of the student. A minimum of two signatures are required on this Enrollment Contract. This Enrollment Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings or communications, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter hereof, and no modifications or amendments are valid unless in writing and signed by all parties. The undersigned Legal Guardian(s) represent to TCA that each has the authority to enter into this Enrollment Contract, the undertakings, and agreements provided herein as evidenced by both signatures.

Until or unless you notify Three Cords Academy of withdrawal of consent in writing to the Head of School, you consent to give and receive through electronic means notices, disclosures, acknowledgments, and other documents that are required or made available to you by Three Cords Academy during the course of your relationship with Three Cords Academy.
